Welcome to our blog!

Hello, www grammar experts, soon to become short story authors!

Remember to post at least once a week for the first four weeks' worth of assignments. I'm planning to read short stories and write my thoughts, as well.

I'm looking forward to reading all your observations!

A Haunted House

"A Haunted House" is about a pair of ghosts who were married in their "former" life. Every night they move from room to room of their old and deserted mansion; they are looking for their "treasure". What the treasure is is never said until the end, but one gets the feeling it has something to do with their love of life. The wife ghost is a sad and passive sounding character while the husband sounds sad but also angry. Both the husband and the wife are looking for peace so are uneasy and they both hope they will find it in the end, in the form of their "treasure". In the last line of the story their treasure is found and they are finally at peace... you'll just have to read it to find out what the treasure is!
